Privacy & Security

The short version

This is a marketing website for a field services company. There are no accounts, no payments and no tracking or advertising cookies. We collect information only when you choose to send it to us through the quote form or the review form, and we use it only to reply to you.

What we collect

Nothing at all unless you submit a form. When you do, we receive exactly the fields you filled in:

• Request a Quote — your name, company, email address, and optionally phone number, project or facility location, equipment type, service required, and the project details you write.
• Write a Review — your name, optionally your company, the star rating you choose, and the review text you write.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, which include visitors' IP addresses and browser type. These are used to run and protect the service, not to profile you.

How we use it

Quote requests are emailed to our team so we can respond to your enquiry. We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Reviews are read by our team before anything is published. A review only appears on this site if we publish it, and we publish the name, company and text you provided. If you would rather your review was not published, say so in the review or email us.

Who processes it

• Netlify hosts the site and processes form submissions, storing them so a lead is never lost if an email fails.
• Microsoft 365 carries the email that reaches our team.
• Google Fonts serves the two typefaces used here. Loading a font makes a request to Google, which means your IP address is visible to them. No cookies are set by it.
• Google also hosts our business review page, which the QR code and review button link to. Leaving a Google review is governed by Google's own terms and privacy policy, not this one.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept as long as we need them for the project and our business records. Form submissions stored by our host can be deleted on request. To have your information removed, email scott@assetprojectsolutions.com and we will delete it.

How this site is secured

• Everything is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and plain HTTP requests are redirected to it. The connection is enforced by HSTS.
• A Content Security Policy restricts the site to running only its own code, which blocks injected or third-party scripts.
• The site is static — there is no database, no login, and no customer data stored on it.
• Form submissions are protected by a hidden honeypot field, a timing check, rate limiting and duplicate filtering to keep automated spam out.
• Security contact details are published at /.well-known/security.txt.
